Hill City Church Vision Statement

“Growing into Christ’s Fullness — A Dwelling of His Spirit, A Community of His Glory.”

We envision a church that:

  • Embodies the fullness of Christ as His living Body (Ephesians 1:23),

  • Dwells as a holy temple where the Spirit of God lives and works (Ephesians 2:22),

  • Manifests God’s wisdom and glory as a unified, reconciled, multiethnic family (Ephesians 3:21).

Rooted in our identity in Christ and built on His grace, we are equipped to serve, called to grow, and commissioned to reach. As Ephesians 4:11–16 declares, we affirm Christ’s gift of apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers:

  • To equip the saints for the work of ministry,

  • To build up the body of Christ until we attain unity in the faith,

  • To grow in the knowledge of the Son of God, maturing to the fullness of Christ,

  • To stand firm in truth, no longer tossed by false teaching,

  • To speak the truth in love, and grow into Christ who is our Head.

From Christ, the whole body, joined and held together, grows and builds itself up in love—as each part does its work.

We live out this vision through the CAMI model:

  • Connection – Forming authentic, grace-filled relationships that reflect Christ’s love.

  • Apologetic – Defending and proclaiming the truth of the Gospel with wisdom and clarity.

  • Message – Declaring the unchanging message of Christ crucified, risen, and reigning.

  • Invitation – Extending a warm, Spirit-led invitation for all to belong, believe, and become in Christ.

We are a city on a hill, calling all to find their identity in Christ, be equipped for ministry, and grow into His fullness—for the glory of God and the joy of all people.
